02/20/2018 The Administrative Review Board affirmed the Hearing Committee's penalty suspending the physician's license to practice medicine for fifteen months with probation for forty months and conditions following the period of suspension. The physician must also pay the remaining balance of the previously imposed fine of $6,000. The physician's medical license is also permanently limited precluding the physician from individually or through a professional corporation from evaluating, treating or billing patients whose medical services are reimbursed through No-Fault Insurance or Workers' Compensation. The Review Board did impose additional conditions requiring the physician to pay the $6,000 fine in installments over six months beginning within 30 days of the effective date of this order and requiring that the physician has an approved practice monitor, appropriate malpractice coverage and has completed the required CME courses prior to the commencement of his probationary period. New York Department of Health
01/07/2010 License suspension for thirty-six months with the last thirty-three months stayed with probation for thirty-six months and a $10,000 fine. The physician is precluded either individually or through a professional corporation from evaluating, treating or billing patients whose medical services are reimbursed through No-Fault insurance or Worker's Compensation. Later on February 20, 2018 the physician's medical license was suspended for fifteen months and was subject to probation terms for forty months, license limitations and conditions.
